Download Your PLR and Put It To Work!

Wow, you’ve just found a mother lode of quality PLR articles for one of your niches and you quickly purchase and download them.  You are going to make money with these babies, that’s for sure!  But first you have to check your email, work out that techie problem, do some tweeting, do some online surfing (research, you know) and tweak your website header.

What happens is you lose your momentum and maybe even lose the PLR articles you downloaded.  You’ve got to have a plan and you’ve got to know where to find the PLR you bought.

Let’s start with the location of your PLR.

You don’t have to download them to where your computer wants to send them by default.  YOU tell them where to go.  Create a folder in “Downloads” and call it “PLR”.  Now create a folder inside “PLR” and name it your niche topic.  Maybe it’s “Blogging” or “Fish” or “Green Energy”.  Now your newly purchased articles have a place to go and you can download them safely without worrying you’ll never find them again.

It’s a good idea to rename the pack to something that makes sense to you.  The seller might have given it a code name to keep the thieves away, but those names will only confuse you too.  I prefer to put the subject and who I got it from.  Example:  bloggingplrAllstarplr.

Now on to the plan…

When you bought that article pack did you have something in mind regarding how to use them?  It’s best if you do, but sometimes you’re going to buy when it comes along knowing you will be working with it on your very next project.

Here’s a sample plan for your PLR pack:

1.  Download and decide how you want to use it.

  • Use as blog posts?
  • Put together in a report to add as a bonus to your product?
  • Use as fodder for your membership site?
  • Totally rewrite and submit it to an article directory?
  • Etc.

2a. If you’re going to use it a bit later, add a note inside the folder where it’s located saying what you’re going to do with it.  You might forget otherwise.  Then put a note on your calendar for approximately the time you expect to be needing it to remind yourself you have it.

2b. If you’re using it now, make some further decisions.  What else does it need?  (more PLR articles to add to it if there aren’t enough to make up a report or ebook) How will you monetize it? (search Clickbank, Amazon, or your favorite affiliate product haunts).  It’s important to do this before you do any rewriting because if you don’t have all the pieces before you do any reworking of the articles, you might be creating more work than necessary.  You don’t want to rewrite an article one way and then pick a Clickbank product to promote and need to rewrite the article a different way.

3.  Rewrite it to do what you want it to do.
If it’s for your membership site, consider it the backbone of the newest offering to your members but add more value to it.  Resources, interviews, videos, screenshots, case studies, more in-depth information may be in order.

For your blog, lightly rewrite to add your personality and include a bit more information.  Put in your keywords and point them to products you’d like them to look at and hopefully buy.
As an ecourse – break them down into smaller chunks, perhaps one tip or paragraph topic in each email.  Are they just information emails or are they pre-selling something to your list?

4.  Post, email, or whatever action you need to do with your polished-up PLR.  Set up your autoresponder to send out the emails in a series, drip-feed your blog posts, etc.

5.  Pat yourself on the back for taking action.

6.  Record what you did with the PLR articles pack and stick the note back in the original PLR folder.  Why?  Because you can use the PLR again in other ways and it’s wise to record what you’ve done so you don’t repeat yourself.

In summary, take that mother lode of quality PLR articles and put them to work as soon as possible.  If you get in the habit of handling them immediately, you’ll get a rhythm going and build momentum, and likely see an increase in traffic and sales.

PLR My favorite Internet Marketing abbreviation!

My favorite Internet Marketing abbreviation!

When I first jumped online as a brand new Internet marketer, I noticed a lot of insider lingo. There were many abbreviations that I had to work through and figure out not only what they meant, but what they meant to me.

There is one abbreviation, PLR, that I’d like to go into and explain what it stands for and how it can benefit you.
 What is PLR?

PLR stands for private label rights. These rights can be attached to article bundles, online reports, ebooks, and full product packages (with squeeze page, download page, sales page, etc.). PLR can also be videos, blog themes, header packages, graphics packages, turn-key blogs, and more.

PLR is generally inexpensive to buy because the PLR writer will sell each PLR item to more than one person. That’s how they can keep the cost down.  Your job will be to change up the products you purchase so they take on your personality and maybe include additional information.

Each PLR writer has his/her own Terms of Service. You should read each one, but generally they will allow you to put your name as the author, add material to it, take material out, rewrite it so it sounds like you, etc.
Why would I want to buy PLR?

Using PLR is like getting a head start in a foot race.  The research has already been done for you; all you have to do is put your spin on it.  That means you can put the material you buy as PLR to work much faster than if you started from scratch.

Having ready-made content means you can post more often to your blog, which can give you a chance to rank higher in the search engines.

PLR products are especially helpful to new marketers because it means they can quickly have their own product to sell at the price they want to sell it.

What can I do with PLR?

There is a lot you can do with PLR besides posting it as content on your blog. You can use it for emails to your list, as an ecourse, or reworked as a report to use for your optin or to sell.

You can also turn it into a podcast, screencast video or PowerPoint presentation.  In addition, PLR can be used as a jumping off point for material for a membership site.

Many people use PLR as a bonus to another product they’re selling, or as a bonus when promoting an affiliate product.

Put on your marketing hat and figure out the most advantageous ways for you to use it!

What can’t I do with it?

Each PLR has Terms of Service so that’s a good place to find out. Many PLR providers will not allow you to turn around and sell the PLR rights to the product.  That means you can’t sell it or give it away as if you are a PLR writer.

 Where can I get PLR?

Good question! You want to stick with the reputable PLR writers. One of my favorite is Peggy Baron’s AllstarPLR . She’s been writing PLR since 2008 and it’s consistently high quality. There is a lot of garbage out there. I recommend you stay away from the “9000 free PLR articles!” and the like.

What is PLR? Should I use it?

What Are Private Label Rights and Should I Use Them?

Perhaps you’ve been been on the Internet a short time researching all the “make money online” business models, and there’s a question you have – what are private label rights and should I get me some?

Simply put, private label rights, also known as PLR, are products or articles that you can purchase and use as your own. The expression “use as your own” here means you can change them to fit your purposes. Here are some of the ways you can change PLR:

  • Put your name as the author.
  • Reshuffle paragraphs, take out or add new paragraphs.
  • Totally rewrite it.
  • Add additional information, such as your personal experiences
  • Add your keywords throughout.
  • Add any links you want in the PLR.
  • Change the conclusion so the PLR article pre-sells something (like an affiliate product).

The PLR can be totally unrecognizable when you’re done, and that’s perfectly fine because it’s yours to mold into what you need. But before you get going with it and even before you buy, find out what the terms of service are. PLR providers don’t necessarily all use the same Terms of Service so check them carefully each time you purchase. Here is an example of PLR Terms of Service from MyNichePLR

[YES] Can put your name on as author.
[YES] Can edit the contents.
[YES] Can sell for personal use only.
[YES] Can be bundled into a paid package.
[YES] Can be added to a paid membership site (as long as it’s not a PLR site).
[YES] Can be published as a CD, DVD, or physical book.
[YES] Can be offered as a bonus.
[NO] Can be added to a free membership site in any format.
[NO] Can be sold in dimesales or auctions.
[NO] Can pass along private label rights in ANY format.

Private label rights products, including PLR articles, are offered to more than one person. Some are limited to 50 buyers while others are free and distribution is unlimited. The key is to find good quality PLR and make them more unique to you so they fit your purposes.

Now to the second half of “What are private label rights and should I use them?” The answer is yes IF… you need content for your blog, newsletter, product, website, radio show, short reports, Squidoo lens, ecourses, etc.

If you only have one blog, chances are you can keep up with it. You can happily post every day or every other day and you live, eat, and breathe your one blog. You probably don’t need PLR, except to help generate ideas and give you some completed research.

But many marketers have quite a few irons in the fire. They have several websites and like to use article marketing, Squidoo lenses, and keyword-rich posts as traffic generators. They also use newsletters, ecourses and free reports to encourage opt-ins to build their list. And for all these things, they need content, and lots of it!

Think of PLR as ready-made content. You’ll want to change it around some to make it your own, but it can save you lots of time. The advantages are many, but perhaps the best is the time-saving factor. For example, if you don’t have to write the content from scratch each and every time, you can post quite frequently, perhaps twice as often.

Posting more often means you’ve got constant fodder for the search engines – which they like, and that content is filled with your important keyword phrases – which you like. These two things will bring in the traffic!

Get your PLR from a trusted source, AllstarPLR, where Peggy Baron has been writing PLR since 2008, and get busy putting PLR successfully to work for you.

Easy Paycheck Formula 2 Review Day 1

I was suggested a product from a marketers email, the product name intrigued me Easy Paycheck Formula 2. I wondered what this was and the most interesting thing was that the lady who was marketing this product was a mother of seven.

Can you imagine 7? I cannot manage 2 and the home and wondered how she claimed to manage a home, 7 kids and bless her soul a business. Her name is Sara Young who says she has made money and has helped people make money in her spare time, between managing kids, cooking and housework.

I decided I needed to prove her wrong (or right) so I went ahead and purchased it.

To be honest I thought the price was too high. But then when I received her eBook I was thrilled, 171 pages of content and images. Each and every thing has been explained well. Some parts I wanted to learn more.

Today is Day 1, I have just skimmed the entire PDF document. It is totally amazing. I liked what I saw. Tomorow I start implementing what she recommends.

I hope I have the  same excitement when I am through this review.

P.S. she is showing how to do research and choose a keyword. I am skipping this, I have a few keywords from my squid pro quo exercise and will use those for now.

Once I am done with those, I will jump back at finding new keywords.

Viral Image Curator Pro Review

I purchased Viral Image Curator Pro today.

I am so thrilled by this purchase. I was never good at editing pictures and since I am handling 9 Social Media clients now I wanted an image software which did the work for me.

With Image curator Pro I can source copyright free images, place quotes on them and send them over to Facebook and Twitter and Pinterest immediately.

Check it out on Facebook Page ->

Here are some images I created and posted on my timeline and my clients. So what do you think?

Tiffany Dow PLR ATM Review

Today I have purchased Tiffany Dow’s PLR ATM and hopefully this PLR ATM Review will help you decide whether to purchase this product. I have recently purchased Tiffany Dow’s Ghostwriting for Cash course and after having a refreshing read and taking note of a lot of action points, I decided to check out PLR ATM course.

PLR ATM ReviewI have been following Tiffany around, literally. I am not sure how I came across her, but when I read her posts and blog, I decided I liked what I read. She was brutally honest and for a sensitive person like me, it came across as TOO harsh. But, over time I realized that she had good things at heart and was a kind, genuine and ethical Internet Marketer.

If you have been online long, you know that this combination is almost impossible to find. First I came across her PLR products which are an instant hit by the way, and then I started considering working as a writer myself.

Her Internet Marketing PLR sold many copies and she made a lot of money with this one pack of just 52 pages. Next I took a look at the following PLR packs and was impressed by the way they were written and marketed.

Gardening PLR
Get Up and Running Online PLR eBook
10 ClickBank Affiliate Review Packs

I was wondering if I could write like her, would I require a degree or some creative writing course.. That is when I heard about Ghostwriting for Cash and plunged write into it. I worked on this course and setup the free profiles, she told me to. I liked what I read and noticed results when I implemented these techniques. I have been asked my people to write for them and old clients are not letting me go. I am actually letting them go as I have no time and also, I have feeling I am selling my services for VERY less.

That is when I started thinking about taking the next step in my writing and making money career. I decided to go and invest in an unbelievably low priced course – PLR ATM course.

Yes, the title is cheesy, but the course is not. Over the next few weeks, I will walk through each day of the PLR course, what I read and what I have implemented.

Ghostwriting Cash Review – Day 4

Today is another day to tackle the Ghostwriting Cash Course and I cannot wait to get started. Tiffany has got me hooked. I have decided instead of setting up a new account on eLance, I will use my Odesk account to test this course.

Writing is My Hobby

Writing is My Hobby—Charles Jeffrey Danoff (

Todays Chapter is “Listings of Hot Spots for Ghostwriting Work”. This is a 4 page chapter and looks very exciting. Let me go grab a cup of tea before I begin.

I am back to tackle ghostwriting cash. I took a look at the next chapter and I am tempted to read that instead.. No.. Let me stick to this one first.

She lists different places people are willing to provide work. I am already registered as a service provider on one of them. I am thinking I will just use the tips she mentioned in the previous chapter to optimize this profile.

Each and every paragraph I browse through in the this section of Ghostwriting Cash I keep reminding myself to take notes.

There are so many action steps and really impactful tips. All are straight to the point, do it now kind of tips. I am amazed.

She mentions one forum which is a must to hang out in. I am already a member there but I never posted in it.

I think I need to get back to participating in this forum.

This section of Ghostwriting Cash is very thorough and has a lot of places and websites listed to check out and review.

That’s it for Today

Ghostwriting Cash Review – Day 3

“What you need before you start bidding for Work”

This section of the Ghostwriting Cash Report is 4 pages long. Tiffany encourages readers to read the course in it’s entirety before attempting to work on the guidelines. This is a good idea as it will prevent you from failing and feeling discouraged.

Your first few bids are crucial to getting a good project and in turn getting a good feedback. Choose your clients wisely and perform your best. She mentions “three elements” which are very crucial to your success.

Tiffany touches on the concept of branding yourself, the do’s and don’ts and subtle tips to get a good feedback.

I have been a freelance writer, social media person and seo person for years. I still have a lot to learn. I wonder if these tweaks will make my profile stand out. Will it grab the attention of a potential client? I think it will.

Ahaa.. the payment terms. This is something I have always been shy about. I am so afraid to ask and some sleazy customers have used my services and have not paid me. They have used my work for their benefit. Cheepskates!!

This tip of hers will help me ensure I get paid every time. The section on creating a great portfolio, is worth a read. I need to make a note for myself. OMG! Why did I not think of this tip on how to get samples of my work? If I had known this earlier, I could have saved so much heartache.

Well, I am through Day 3 of Ghostwriting Cash Report and I am all motivated and pepped up.

Time to take action

See Ya Tomorrow with another update :)

Ghostwriting Cash Review – Day 2

Yesterday I reviewed Ghost writing cash and spoke about the very first section “The Perks of Ghostwriting Aren’t all about the money” . Today, I move on to the next section titled “What Skills Does it Take to be a Ghostwriter?”.

I wish she would number her sections or chapters. Numbering makes it easier to go back to a particular section.

What Skills Does it Take to be a Ghostwriter?

This section is 7 pages long and I am a slow reader. Tiffany hits it right on the nail with this section. I was worried about grammar, especially since I am from India.  She says not to worry… that is comforting.. a lot actually. Now what was that about perfectionism :) I am already loving what I read.

This section covers “Plagiarism” where she mentions what it is to copy someones ideas. This course will definitely make sure that a writer learns what all it takes to write good copy ethically.

The sub topic on being flexible about what we write is something which is essential. She also has some good examples and reasons. Things we should do and how to do them. This is all so very nice and right on target.

I liked the tips on how to make sure your writing is better than your competitors. How very nice.. hmm ..

The next sub topic on knowing the definitions, is a BIG help. Thank you Tiffany. This one section is worth everything. It makes me feel smart already and I just got started.

This section is really a great one. I am learning sooo much. Though I knew most of all this, the real life examples help corroborate the facts. She mentions ” Web Copy that SELLS ” .. I am making a mental note to download this book and read it soon.

Now she speaks about Time Management… Okay I admit, I need all the help I can get to address this problem of mine. Guess what! Looks like she is like me :) I will have to read these tips again in the ghostwriting cash course. These are simple to apply and will help me a lot.

Why did I not think of these before?

I am done, yippee :)

That was a lot of good information and I hope I could address all these in this ghostwriting cash review. In tomorrows post I will move on to the next section “What you need before you start bidding for Work”.

Till then

Cheers :)
